These bidding sites are perfect to find other collectors because you can ask specific questions to members using the contact form that is found on each member's selling page. It doesn't take much to introduce yourself and let them know why you are contacting them.

Facebook and other social networking websites have a plethora of resources for those who may be interested in the same things, including stamp collecting. Joining facebook groups related to stamp collecting is a good idea to network with others. Also, many groups on these social networking platforms allows members to post updates in message boards or walls. Here, you can tell the rest of the members what specific stamps you are selling or looking for.

Internet classified ads work the same as your local newspaper. The site is filled with items that are being sold by sellers, including collectible items such as stamps. Online classified ads are free and it is easy to send messages to other collectors without revealing your personal information such as phone numbers, addresses and email addresses. The classified ad site will allow you to message the seller without revealing your actual email address.
